John's Story
We'll what can I say, I am truly blessed with the lovely and beautiful wife of 23 years My high school sweetheart Carol. And in turn she gave me three beautiful daughters Miranda 17, Marissa 11, and the little fighter Marina 6. After high school I joined the Marines for four years and was able to travel to the western pacific countries including Australia. I married Carol while I was in the Marine Corp. After the Marines I was hired by The Los Angeles City Fire Department and have been there for going on 19 years. My latest accomplishment was promoting to Captain and, I could not have done it without the help of my wife Carol.
We do a lot of traveling, especially to Hawaii, hence the picture of the old guy with the sunset on the beach. We plan to retire there. We moved out of L.A. first to south Orange county, Now to Murrieta CA. Near San Diego....Expand for more
Life is good. I see some old friends now and then but, I get to spend a lot of time with my family. I have truly been blessed.
I don't know if anyone really remembers me from high school other than close friends, But, I do have fond memories of it and everyone that was around me at the time. Looking back I wished I would have been more involved in school and created more memories, but I guess we can all say that. Being a parent I try to encourage my children to be more involved, make forever lasting friends and make high school a great experience, something that they will remember and cherish always.
As for my future? I plan to work another 10 to 12 years. Grow some grey hairs next to my beautiful wife and watch the grandchildren grow (sometime in the future).
